Cooperative Leadership Certification

Advanced Students Program

Cooperative Leaders! The Advanced Students Program has been designed for you. The Advanced Students Program is for you if you’re seeking the community space to deepen your practice of facilitating collaboration in your team.

This program is focused on supporting your understanding and capacity to meet your team with Collab’s process tools, tactics, and skills to support bringing more transparency, clarity, and experimentation in how you collaborate.

This is your implementation space! Let’s work through what’s challenging about getting accountability, facilitating consent, clarifying roles and power, and other aspects of cooperation.

You’ll receive a plethora of essential tools to implement shared leadership and management practices for alignment around your team’s daily operations and decisions along with honing your group’s collective purpose and values.

First month of the program is FREE.

As you learned in our Level I training, we’ve spent years researching the problems and potentials associated with organizational communication and collaborative leadership and synthesized and condensed what we’ve learned into a set of shared leadership practices, Collab, that support you in bringing flow, harmony, ease, and continual improvement to your organization.

The Advanced Students Program builds on what you learned in Level I to help you expand your collaborative leadership capacity by supporting you in putting the practices into action with your team(s) and building on your knowledge of the other conversations including:

  • How to collaboratively develop a purpose, an organization’s vision, mission, and values
  • What business model consists of and how to evolve or improve it, including embedding open book management in your organization
  • How to develop a strategic plan that gets enacted
  • What to do with conflict management both in the moment and in terms of prevention
  • How integrating personal development including performance reviews can transform your organizational culture

But this isn’t just about the tools. To be a collaborative leader, you must have a deep understanding of how to meet people where they are and bring your team together. You must practice presence and active listening, develop your problem-solving skills, and understand that when one member of the team has a problem, the team has a problem.

There is so much wisdom in the Collab system, and the ability to bring all of the techniques and practices into my daily work and my team has made possible much of the change I’ve been able to accomplish in the past year. The best part [of Level II] is the way that after all of their resistance, my team is now embracing the Standard Meeting Practice, ops tracking, and even Personal Development as valuable tools to self-manage through executive transition.

I would say the most important practical piece has been watching these processes, conversations, and ways of thinking come alive in me. I could feel my perception and ability to adapt to different tensions expanding as we worked with this material together.
